Order for RSW refrigeration units to ‘Vesturbugvin’

Teknotherm is going to deliver two RSW refrigeration units to the Faroe Islands fishing trawler P/F Vesturbugvin.

Each unit will have a capacity of 150 kW, and they will be replacing an old RSW plant with freon as refrigerant. The new units will instead have ammonia (R-717) as refrigerant, and because of the ultra-low charge of refrigerant on these, they are approved for placement onboard without a separate machine room, which is new and very unique.

The units will be delivered from us autumn this year.
