Order for freezing plant to newbuild no. 920 at Vard Vietnam

The Russian shipowner Luntos Co. Ltd. is going build a new freezer trawler at the shipyard VARD Vung Tau in Vietnam, and Teknotherm has been choosen to deliver the cargo freezing plant to this newbuild.

The 80 m stern trawler will have freezing capacity of 170 ton of fish per 24 hrs. by use of plate freezers. For the two freezing holds of total appr. 2000 m3, there will be delivered a system for indirect cooling by cold brine instead of traditional cooling by ammonia as refrigerant.

Delivery of ship will be medio 2021, and the freezing equipment shall be at shipyard appr. medio 2020.
