Order for complete HVAC- and Refrigeration systems to new ‘Gitte Henning’

Teknotherm Marine is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract for complete Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning (HVAC) and Refrigeration systems to the new Danish fishing vessel “Gitte Henning”, owned by ship owner Henning Kjeldsen.

The new 87 m “Gitte Henning” is a pelagic fishing vessel, designed by Salt Ship Design in Norway, to be built by the Spanish shipyard Zamakona, and she incorporates several environmentally friendly systems.

Teknotherm Marine will provide design for the direct cooling of the Chilled-Water system, allowing chiller by-pass for energy efficient operation almost year around.

In addition, we are supplying Dehumidification systems for humidity control, as well as Provision Cooling Plant with refrigerant R-449A for improved energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
