Order for 7 fishing trawlers to be built at Vard Aukra

Vard has recently obtained the contract for delivery of 7 fishing trawlers to four Icelandic ship owners.

The vessels are designed by Vard Design in Ålesund, and they are going to be built, equipped and delivered by Vard Aukra. The size of the trawlers will be 29 m length, and width of 12 meter, and further they will have a capacity for a crew of 13 persons.

Teknotherm is going to deliver the refrigeration plants for the fish holds, which will have a capacity of appr. 250 m3. First delivery of equipment will be in September this year, and the last vessel will be delivered in first quarter of 2019.
