Order for freezing plant to Faroese vessel F/T Gadus

The Faroese ship owner P/F JFK Trol has ordered a new factory trawler from Tersan Shipyard in Turkey – newbuild no. 1102. The trawler will be 88,1 m long, and is designed by Skipsteknisk AS as their design ST-119.

We are proud to be chosen as the supplier of the cargo freezing plant onboard this new vessel, and Teknotherm will deliver a high-efficient cargo freezing plant using ammonia as refrigerant. Ammonia is all natural and the most environmental friendly refrigerant – used by Teknotherm for most of our refrigeration systems for fishing vessels for the past 20 years.

Further, we will also deliver the provision refrigeration plant for this vessel.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery to owner in end of 2022.
