HVAC contract for 90m Live Fish Carrier

Teknotherm have been awarded the delivery of complete HVAC systems from Spanish shipyard Astilleros de Murueta, for a Live Fish Carrier (LFC) owned by Alsaker Fjordbruk AS in western Norway, scheduled for delivery in 2020.

The vessel, to be named “Kristoffer Tronds”, is 90,7 m long and 18,6 m wide, and has a well capacity of more than 5000 m3.
The LFC, designed by Salt Ship Design, has several new and innovative design solutions in relation to different types of gentle fish-handling operations, including lice treatment, with a strong focus on fish welfare, hygiene and quality.
